The article of the leading research fellow, Doctor of Geography M.A. Abduyev “Evaluation of hydrochemical state of the

rivers in arid areas of Azerbaijan” has been published in the journal “Water management of Russia”. The line of change of the mineralization of river water in arid areas of Azerbaijan is evaluated by trend method. The long-term analysis of mineralized water determined that the changes present a complex nature and is ambiguous. It was determined that a small variability of hydrochemical regime of investigated rivers is characterized by close link between the mineralization, some ions (Ca, Mg, HCO) and water flow.
